Plan B

I had big Saturday morning plans of taking Lydia and Silas to check out the Wilmore flower sale and farmers' market. The rain came a little early, though, and we are instead watching the rain and listening for thunder. We also had cinnamon rolls for breakfast, so it's actually turning out to be lovely and lazy Saturday morning.
We have been out a lot the last few days, enjoying the spring weather, as opposed to the summery, record-breaking weather we had at the beginning of the month. Here are Lydia and Silas savoring their chicken nuggets and french fries, respectively. I love how Lydia is just lounging; apparently, all is right in her world.

Silas' little personality is really coming out lately! He is curious and playful and loves the ladies. He's saying a lot of things (and with such authority at times), but the only word we can really recognize is "light", or "ight", rather.

I cannot believe how grown-up Lydia looks in this picture, or that she'll be three years old in a few months! She proudly wore her Ethiopian dress to church a few weeks ago, and when Michael sent this picture to me at work, I hardly even recognized this big girl. Of course, the outfit would not have been complete without the SpongeBob watch.
Happy Derby Day to everyone! Hope all is right in your worlds as well!
